If you want to increase your wait time and double it...Sure! Go ahead and contact them. Remember that they have the power to " not find" you file. There are 350,000 people coming next year and it keeps increasing.

I say before you get angry with the Minister of Immigration, plan for your future in Canada. Time is passing faster than you think and once you are there without a plan it will be so hard to settle. This is useful time.

Did you receive the pre-arrival services letter from CIC?

my BGC is showing in progress
medical has been received 3 month before and result showing PASS
Landing fee paid and submitted additional docs 3 month before

i sent a enqiry mail two week before to cic for my application status

i got a reply yesterday from cic

(we will be contacted u as soon as we are in position to proceed with your application)

Could any one please explain how long will take for PPR they did not mentioned any time

my medical is upfront and the rprf is already paid when the app is filed its included when we submitted it.
the reason is that im not anymore a dependent of my father since im 22 that time and have not been continuesly studying

My adr hearing was September 22 received a letter after a month that the appeal is allowed then got an email in november from cpc ottawa for additional forms including medical and police clearance. Yesterday updated ecas medical results have been received in third line. Now earlier today they updated ecas again and in a another line it says somthing like this we have made a correspondence decision on sponsorship application on this date and the date is from 2 years ago when they first received the application. It is all just so confusing no clue what is going on and how the hell they process the file after the appeal. Any one who got any experience and dealt with this process. Reply back ......
