I got the remedical request from New Dehli and done my remedicals on 19-Sep-2016, Then on 03-Oct-2016 I got the PPR.

As you can see my timeline on the left side. I ordered GCMS notes last month which I received day before yesterday. It states Eligibility, Criminality & Medical have been passed. The next due date 30-09-2016 which has been passed as well as I just received the GCMS notes. Any idea why there is so much delay for issuing PPR ?

I am going on vacation to my country of passport(India) in couple of weeks. In that case, Can I do the medicals from India instead of US. I can save a lot of money in the process.

Yes, it is possible. But you must inform your visa officer about the fact that you are going to India and hence be allowed to do your medicals there. He will allow you to do that.

Also, since you are doing your medical I wanted to let you know, that you and your family are eligible to receive pre-arrival help to plan your move to Canada.

Go to NextStopCanada.ca it is a CIC funded program to help immigrant families with information and referrals to free resources (they do the research for you) to help you prepare better and faster.

Reading a lot on here about receiving third line on ECAS What about those who applied Outland and had to do Medicals upfront , My Husbands application has been processing since March 15 2016


Online status is as follows

We received xxx application for permanent residence on January 26th 2016
We started processing xxx application on March 15 th 2016
Medical results have been received

We are in the month of November now , with still no update or any communication from our VO or our Lawyer ???? I'm getting really worried , anyone have any thoughts
