Hi Tbaba, well yea and there is one fella from Ankra visa office also has been waiting since July, my lawyer told me that there is Que and quotas so probably the quotas for 2015 is already filled and will be in the next quotas of 2016, so i am kind of expecting it in the beginning of Jan 2016, crossing my fingers ::)

Tbaba, I think I want to also agree with the statement above because, what would you say is the reason for the sudden inexplicable silence from AVO when other visa offices like WVO are busy dishing out PPRs?

Maybe AVO has exhausted the IM Visas under FSW for the year 2015.

I also got my TLU on the 31st of July and have been waiting since then.

After all, it's not as if our own applications require more checks than our other colleagues that got PPRs 2-3 weeks after concluding their medicals.

The wait is just tiring.

Patience is all we need now.

She raised a couple of CSE before getting her PPR. You too do the same.

New Program available at COA (NIGERIANS ONLY)

On the 1st of December 2015, Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan) and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) launched a new joint initiative: Planning for Canada. This ground-breaking partnership builds on years of experience providing pre-arrival support to individuals and families preparing for their move to Canada.

Planning for Canada will equip newcomers with the necessary skills to find work and assist them in making informed settlement decisions. The program will be offered in-person in 12 countries, with the capacity to deliver online services worldwide. Services are available in English and French.

Both CICan and the IOM are recognized leaders in the immigrant-support sector. CICan has been implementing the Canadian Immigrant Integration Program (CIIP) since 2007 while the IOM has been implementing the Canadian Orientation Abroad (COA) program since 1998. Collectively, they have served over 115,000 economic and family class immigrants to date.

Funded by the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC, formerly CIC), Planning for Canada is a free service that will provide prospective Immigrants with information, tools and vital connections to Canadian partners. The suite of services includes:

• Individualized planning sessions

• Referrals to a network of 55 Canadian partner organizations

Well.. All I can say, U have got tremendous patience. you have been waiting since May for your PPR. Hats off to you Bro.
Some are getting in one week, some in two or three weeks and the people like you are waiting more than 6 months. So there is no predicted time for getting the PPR. All depends upon the VO and most importantly on our background checks.
May God bless you and I wish you would get your PPR very soon. All the very Best.

Definitely it will help you. You did a right thing. At least you will come to know your application status.
Mainly go through the sections like Activity, Paper File & Notes. These sections will help you to know the current status of your application.
Good Luck!!
