Hi guys,

I did my medicals on 3rd November 2015 and these were uploaded by emedical on 10th November. However everything went well with our medicals except my husband had white coat syndrome (which the doctor wrote on the report) with his blood pressure on the day, so it was 148/93. I am assuming we need to do extra tests, but are waiting to hear from LVO.

On 17th November I noticed my ECAS had the line added "we have received your medicals". I am now confused as to whether this means we have passed the medicals, despite the high blood pressure, or it's just that they have received the medicals and the line don't mean anything other than that!

What does everyone think, please? X

Yes dear as Medical has been received line means they have accepted your medical examination results or Favourable Medical Examination Results.

In case of issue with any test, they call you within two days of the test to come for another test. You have passed this stage.

For your satisfaction you can call the Hospital where you have under gone the Exam and ask them that I have appeared in the Medical Exam on this date, can you confirm if you have submitted the results to CIC, the doctor will ask your IME No [the number mentioned on your Medical Instructions Form] and will tell you the answer. If answer is yes results have been submitted then this means you have passed the medical and if the answer is the status is showing incomplete then there is a problem with any of the test and you need to appear again.

But this is confirm that CIC only update this line on the success of your Medical Exam.

Thank you taking the time to reply in such detail. I really appreciate it, as we have been stressing about the implications of the high blood pressure. I am so happy now! :P THANKS for your help. X
