Hello guys!

We did our medicals on 25 June and we have been waiting since then, meanwhile I sent them an email with inquiry if everything is alright with the medical results and documents, they replied that documents were received and I should wait for further steps in the process.

What do you think, any suggestions? Should I be worried or be just patient?

Regards.

I have almost exactly the same situation. I did my medicals on July 28 and no PR still. Even no 'medical results have been received' in ecas. I wrote an e-mail to CIC and they responded that received my medical results and my application is 'processed'. I know most people get passport request within a month after medicals, and I have no idea why it takes so long for me (and apparently you). I can only guess that delay is related to Canadian elections and/or refugees (since my application is processed in the Ottawa).

Thank you Doc, you are always positive! :)

I totally agree with you Alik, everything here goes with its own luck. Someone gets within one month, someone within three etc. Lets keep on waiting and be positive and patient with process. Good luck!!! :)

Dear Forum Member
Please give your expert advise.

I got my MR mail yesterday and still waiting for medical forms. How long they normally takes and my ECAS is not updated so far.
Second. Which one is better for medical Apollo Ludhiana or Max Super specialty Mohali. Or any other good clinic in both cities.
Please reply...
The forms are supposed to be attached on the mail. If not write to the VO that you did not see any attachment.

Today finally the magical line "Medical results have been received." appeared in my application status! I did my medicals on July 28th, so it's been a loooong time.
Hoping to get passport request soon.

Hi,

Just this morning i saw my ECAS update "medical result has been received", but they also know that i have new born baby to add and i am still waiting for my baby's passport. We already finished our medical except for our new baby. But how come they updated our ECAS medical result received is this means the medical result update is for us only not including the new baby?

Don't know what it means please advise.

Thank you for any reply and comments!

Have you raised CSE about the addition of your new baby? If yes please send then a gentle reminder once your baby passport is ready by uploading the bio data page in the CSE raised, you also need to pay for the application fee, fill new generic form

hi, thanks for your reply. Yes they already know that i have an additional baby to be added they even send me the requirements for baby addition. But my question is why they updated my ECAS as receive medical result without my additional Baby's medical...

Friends I have got my 3rd line regarding "medical results received" updated today i.e. 15-Oct-2015.

Still waiting for PPR. You may see that my medicals were done on 09-Aug-2015.

Medical results have been received and waiting for PPR 8)

Hi Friends,

A lot of people got "Medicals have been received" updated on 14-Oct-2015... I am one of them :)

Any idea how much time to PPR? My VO is Warsaw...

Cheers,

I received the same update yesterday as well, but that doesn't mean that they have received your Medicals recently. My brother did his medicals on the 14th of September and he received an email from CIC on the 24th of September they have received his medicals, however his status was also changed yesterday on eCAS (after 20 days of it actually being received by CIC), you did your medicals in August, so it is quite certain that they received your medicals AGES ago but have updated eCAS only yesterday. From what I have been observng is that CIC stopped updating Medical received status around July end and resumed updating this status only yesterday. So we cannot link expected PPR from the date of update on eCAS. On an average they take between 2 weeks to 3 months to issue PPR after Medicals Received, but since we don't know the exact date of when they actually received medicals we can never know the exact expected PPR window. NDVO, LVO and CVO are issuing PPR around 14 days after Medicals DONE.

I sincerely hope we all receive ours in the next 2 weeks :D

Yup, hope that everyone of us gets PPR at the earliest...

Even I observed that ECAS was not being updated from some time, however since mine is a furtherance medical case, so was extremely happy to see this update yesterday! (I initially did medicals in May 2015)

+1 for your reply!
