Guys!

In the past couple of days a new trend has been observed in eCas, in which many applicants whose Medicals has been received by the visa officer, were expecting Passport Request, has been surprised with the "Decision Made" status.

In the past, Decision Made status appeared once the visa officer receives the passport from the applicants after issuing the PPR. I understand that unexpected surprises in the application process at this stage brings the goose bumps and anxiety. :-X

Wish you all the best! And good news will arrive soon in the mail box :)

Cheers!

Hi,

I need some information about PPR.

I received MR and PCC on 8th May. I did my medicals on 18th May. I paid the RPRF and sent the receipt and PCC on 28th May. My application status says "Medical results have been received."... It is almost 3 months now and haven't heard anything from the high commission...

My doubt is,

1. Does "Medical results have been received." status means that they have received all the documents such as PCC, RPRF receipt from me or only the medical report sent by the hospital?

2. Will the application status change once the high commission sends me PPR... I just want to make sure, I didn't miss the mail sent by the high commission, though I have checked my inbox time and again.

3. Regarding, background check and fund check... is that all checked before sending us MR and do they check only after receiving Medical Request from us.

my third line update was on 20 may 2015, im still waiting for dm/ppr, and my wife is 2nd month pregnant she is on early stages of pregnancy do i need inform to CIC, plz suggest

thanx for the reply sas_raza!
its a bit relaxing to know that people are recieving ppr after their status updated as decision made , but really the wait is deadly n v frustrating. Now its been eighth day of my status DM but still waiting for ppr,may GOD help us all

Hello Sami,

I simply sent an email today to my VO (RIH) inquiring about the change in status and s/he replied the following within no time:

"Dear Applicant,

Thank you for your message. Your application has been approved. Please find a letter attached with full instructions on how to submit the required documentation.

We look forward to receiving the documents within 30 days of the date of this email.

Yours sincerely,

RIH"

So, you may also give it a try!

Cheers

Hi ! I have read in other threads that you have to inform once your baby is born. If you get your residence before your baby is born, you can land with your pregnant wife in Canada and give birth there, then your son or daughter will be a Canadian. If your baby is born before you get your residence or visa, you will have to submit his o her birth certificate and wait for their instructions.

Again, that's what I read in other threads, maybe someone else have a different opinion.

Hello guys,

We did our medicals on 25 June and got TLU one week after, but we are still waiting for passport request. Why does it take so long, should I write them an email, is it normal to wait almost 2 months for PR? I know that we should sit back and relax, but I am getting worry a bit. Please advice!

Regards,
Boban

Hello everyone....we did our medicals last Wednesday n paid RPRF online n emailed RPRF receipt n emailed passport copies....
Some folks suggested me to also courier all these docs...but WVO email stated either email or courier - so I just emailed it....
how long does it take to reflect it on our ECAS saying medicals received????

Is cholesterol exam needed for medical?

Dear members,

My ECAS status changed to Decision Made on 22 August but there is no TLU. My timelines on the left. Should I send an email to VO (DRD) to request an update.

On a side note, we did additional tests for my wife (as per request of panel doctor). They came mostly fine and were uploaded with the original medicals (medicals uploaded on 05th August).
