Please advise if this update can be a reason for the delay of my DM or PPR ?

Hi Seniors and Friends,

Good day. I will submit our passports on coming Monday (27-July-2015) and Hope I can get back after around 1 month later. Hope you all will finish journey soon also.

1) Firstly, our family (me,my wife and baby) will plan to go to Vancouver from Singapore around 3rd week of September 2015 and stay for a few days only and back to Singapore as our Visa validity will end around 23-Oct-2015 (exactly 1 yr from medical date) . My plan is just sign PR Forms at Vancouver Airport and write my friend's home address. Around 12 weeks later , CIC will send our PR Crads to this home address right? Then I ask my friend to deliver our PR Cards to Singapore by courier. How do you think my plan will work?

2) I will bring CAD 10,000 bank draft and CAD 10,000 cash for 3 family members. Actually how much money or bank draft need to bring?

Please let me know any link for landing experience and need to study about landing process and any advice. Thanks in advance.

Guys!

In the past couple of days a new trend has been observed in eCas, in which many applicants whose Medicals has been received by the visa officer, were expecting Passport Request, has been surprised with the "Decision Made" status.

In the past, Decision Made status appeared once the visa officer receives the passport from the applicants after issuing the PPR. I understand that unexpected surprises in the application process at this stage brings the goose bumps and anxiety. :-X

Wish you all the best! And good news will arrive soon in the mail box :)

Cheers!

sounds pretty good..but make sure u tell ur friend to use the safest courier service. As long as u can show that the min settlement prescribed money to sustain ur family is readily available to u in papers then theres no min or max limitations on how much to carry..all the best!

Guyz/Seniors.. Please advice..

My timelines are on left and VO is Warsaw.. I'm bit worried I've not received my PPR/DM yet.. its almost 50 days now..

Anyone has any idea how what is the average time now for PPR/DM?? My heart is sinking day by day my friends..

Dear red9999,

Thanks for your information for the courier. Hope all the best.

PPR received

Greetings to All

I received my PPR today after 2 and half months after we'd submitted our MR.

I will be sending the passports tomorrow. Would anyone be able to let me know what is the maximum time wait for the passports to come back?
Also, I am in Australia, I still have to send my passports in Delhi but will they send it back to me?

Last time when I'd sent my passport photocopies, they wrote to me saying they didn't receive but according to Australia Post and the tracking number it said delivered to the destination...

A little worried here
