Means ur file in on track
It may take up to one year or more only few cases in 6 monyhs

How can it be one year.. it says on your profile that after you submitted medical report it took 1 month to get passport request...

another month has passed. Still don't see PPR/DM. It has been 9 months since 3rd line added, 4 months since FBI PCC submitted.

Dear members need your advise, my medical results have been received by end of march and till now no ppr!!! I applied for caip notes and I should receive my file notes within a week or a little bit more.
As I understand from some of the posts I read that ppr could take 1 year? As per my understanding the security and background checks should be over within 6 months?
Wish you all a good luck

Hi Zaid,
May I know why you are moving to Canada or why you prefer Canada over Australia? I also have Australia visa and currently in dilemma about moving to which country.
Thanks.

Hi,

To be very honest - I like Australia a lot but I am moving to Canada due to family reasons......nothing else really.

All the best.
Zaid

Dear Seniors and Friends,

Good day. I am wondering if someone could answer to my questions.

1) Me and my wife done medical on 08-Oct-2014 (except my wife X-ray due to pregnant).

2) My wife done her X-RAY only on 27-May-2015 after deliver baby.

3) My baby received medical on 06-July-2015 and medical will be finished on coming Friday (17-July-2015).

My question is when CIC issue visa for us, visa validity is start from our medical finished the date to 1 year. So me and my wife medical is done on 08-Oct-2014 mean our visa validity is valid unitl 07-Oct-2015 like this? Please let me have advice from seniors and friends. Thanks.

Regards,
Myat

That is correct, brother. Visa validity will expire on the date in 12 months since the completed date of first person in your application, which is yours (08-Oct-2014), not your wife's.

Dear Ivtruong,

Good day. Thanks for your information.

In your case,

1) you and your wife medical finished on 13-Nov-2014 and so your visa validity date is until 12-Nov-2015 ?

2) your baby medical finished on 23-March-2015 and your baby visa validity is until 22-March-2016? like this?

Please advise me.

My case is similar case like you. My baby is only 3 months now and if I got visa, my visa validity is until 08-Oct-2015 and at that time my baby will be 5 months old. Firstly, my plan is visit to there first, then sign forms at the airport, give local address (my friend address) and back to home. After my friend received our PR cards, send with DHL to me. but i am thinking baby is very young and at that time around 5 months old only, how do you bring baby to there for long hours flight? We will travel from Singapore. How about your idea? please let me know.

Until now, are you waiting for PPR start from 23-March-2015? Thanks and let me know.

Regards,
Myat

Ha Ha Ha. Dont worry YOUWISH1983, rprf to ppr 1 year or more is just impossible. Because validity of your COPR will be exactly 1 year from date of medical done. So there is no question of sending PPR after 1 year :) Dont worry PPR is on the way

Hi, if I am correct, the visa(s) validity of an application will be the same regardless difference in medical report submission and they will be the expiry date of MR of whom ever completed MR first. That said, my family visas validity will expire this November. Only that my child will not need to re-take the medical test this November.

Yes I intend to take a short landing. I hope my baby will be ok with a long flight. And yes I am waiting for PPR since March, sadly :(.
