'Medical results have been received' and Waiting for PPR

....... T oday I got the magic word DECISION made ,4 days after asking me wether I can land before May 6,2015.to which i replied positively
I am expecting my PPR any time now

Congrats mate.. I hope you dont have to wait anymore. Dont mind me asking but, why did u application take this long to get processed.

I do not mind at all,do not worry at all ,all the delays were mainly for 2010 applicants where we had VO strikes and huge application numbers and many more issues like lenghthy process
Now adays they ppromise to process within 6 month or max ayear

Congratulations to you my friend!!! I am passing a bit similar situation as you. I am 2012 applicant and waiting for response from CIC after my medical that I did around 6 months ago.

I am also 2011 applicant , My medical just 5 more days will Expire , still nothing from my visa office , you have at least 6 months to your medical Expiry date, be hopefull guy.
I hope my LVO renew my medical and ask for PPR.

I can understand how happy are you, I am also from 2011 just waiting , 5 days later my medical will be expired but no PPR yet :'(

It is very much frustrating to wait so long without any legitimate reason, where as many applicants who applied after us (even after 2 years) got Visa. I am curious to know what type of tracking system do CIC follow to track the progress of the applications.

One more questions for you. Looks like you have much more experience than me to visit this blog. Considering that the Medical results is positive and there is no criminal record, what might be the other possible causes to get rejected after completing the Medical test.

I did send my passports and 2 photos with date on back to Abu Dabi embassy as they request and in the request they mention ten working days from the recieve of passports and 3 day for courier,so I am hoping for the end of Feb.

I just want some help/ comments on my PR information. I actually got my request from NDVO for Medical Test in Nov 2014.

I did my Medical Test in Dec 2014 and submitted the documents along with Landing fees in Dec 2014.

So, can anyone suggest me on how much time, it will take for my Passport Request (PPR) from NDVO.

Please revert ASAP.

In your case don't worry still 5 months you have to your Medical Expiry date , I guess you will receive your visa before expire .

Even if your medical expire , they will renew for you.
2010,2011 & 2012 can't compare themselves with 2013 onwards, the processing time is completely different.

Thank you very much for your reply. Surprisingly enough, today I have received email from CIC to submit my Passport within 30 days. I am very much thankful to all the forum members to provide me the mental support during my long boring waiting time. I am praying for smooth processing of all applicants.

I was requested re-medical in Jan 2015 and we submitted it end of Jan and now we are waiting for ppr. Does anyone know how long it will take for background security and medical checks to be finished. I am dealing with the Ottawa office . Thanks

In my case it took 5 months after First medical. From my experience it should take between 2-6 months. I found some people had to water even a year. So, it completely varies person to person and upto the visa officer.
