I think you need to send email to VO with clearly stating "urgency" asking about the status as its a lot of time,,,

nothing to write to cic - its normal process

processin began in july - hardly 4 months - u have to go with the inventory and wait

@ amirsrima, thanks for the advice, I did talk this week with our law office and since it's been "only" 3 months since the last VO communication they recommend to wait until January 2015 before contacting them again to inquire of status.

@ terki, thanks for the reply. Yes, processing started in July but November marks my 19th month since application was submitted and according to the CIC Timelines for VO CPP-Ottawa, 18 months is the "Average" processing time and since I am on my 19th month I can't help but worry a little bit. I hope to hear good news at anytime hopefully before the end of the year

Hello Everyone
it has been 53 months since the start of my journey on May 2010,and 30 months from processing date April 2012,Medicals were done on May 2013 and extended till may 2015.
Latest email from London VO was on May 2014 extending our medicals till May 2015 and mentioning that I will hear from them shortly and no need to do Short Landing.
I waited 3 month since they said Shortly and then emailed on Aug 2014 but no response,
late Aug I emailed the Minister of Immigration and He responded on September 4 confirming that they contacted London visa office and our records confirm that your application is nearing completion and rest assured that u will be conyacted with regar to the final stage of processing.

I cannot understand the delays ,Medical are great and they extended it for me anf family for another year,My NOC is still in Demand and as per their website they recieved only 260 of 1000 cap this year. funds ready passports ready and I told them in every and each email that I am ready to travel as soon as they stamp the visas.
I know I have been repeating myself over and over ,however consider my pain of waiting more than 4 years .Even my kids do not trust anyword about Canada anymore.

Finally my prayers to all applicants especially the unfotunate 2010 applicants.

I have got my medical done 14 days back, as per Dr within 5 working days medical will be received by CIC. How would i know if medical is received by CIC? On ECAS how long it takes takes to get update the medical recieved line??

i have received MR and RPRF request yesterday from NDVO we are 3 family members but only one IMM1017 form is attached with my wife name.Mine and my son form is missing.

what to do now how to proceed for medicals.
