and in gcms under assessment 1 section - sec clearance - u have an entry - assigned to -

does it show blank or assigned to Rc262 ?

applicants- applied on AOR and have been working with same employer (FSW2 +LMO supported) or pnp
will have to continue to work for same employer (exception - BOWP -)

in this scenairo - considring timelines of NDVO AND CPP(o) - NDVO was fast enough to process applications Pre-strike - lot many applied to NDVO at their discretion - same with me too

Nov 2012- AOR - I got medicals in Dec - mar ecss third line - look at this supersonic speed, then strike occured - 6 months now -strike completes and trend begins to speed up too

ppr rqst is discretion of vo - some get it with mr and some nt

in my GCMS - vo clearly wrote - PA IN CANADA SO RQST ONLY MR AND RPRF - WHICH IS CORRECT THING TO TO

now that ppr comes in - candiate has an option to fly passport self or with a person by hand - authorized I don't think you authorize anyone to carry the passports on your behalf even. That is the precondition for India and Pakistan, that the passport should not cross borders without the owner of the passport. Otherwise even a courier can be considered an authorized person..

CRIM - 1 DAY - 1WEEK TIMELINE
SEC - 30 DAYS - 6 MONTHS - DEPENDS ON VARIOUS FACTORS
BF'D DATE SHOULD CO-RELATE TO THE FACTORS TOO

I thought that was the case and that is why I was asking. If a person is already working, it would be difficult for them to take leave and fly to India and wait for visa stamping.

Dear All,
Finally after 3.5 years, got passports with visa and related landing documents yesterday. DM was on 16th sept, Visa stamping on 12th Sept, visa expiring on Jan 04, 2014.
By now, my wife is in 2nd month of pregnancy. Need your suggestions whether I need todeclarethe same to visa office?? and get further documents ???

I submitted all on 11th sept 2013. My eCase with "Medicals have been received" was done on 23rd sept. how come I got the PPR along with Medicals? also now where do I stand? When should I expect DM?

Hi Shef,

What is your visa office? If it is NDVO, then it is common for them to ask for passports with medicals.

Hi dont feel that you are not lucky. You are taking things much technically. You have to concern with only visa not this GCMS and CAIPS analysis. They will work in your favour if they want to work otherwise they are keeping our files in darkness.....

1st of all i wish every success to all members who have been recieving PPR1,PPR2, & PP stamped Smiley

well last night i was going through master qorax backgrouned explained posting in which he has done

very well & 4 idea i m posting it here also 4 kind considrations that ,......

Security & Criminality Checks:
A part of the b/ground checks is the 'Security Check'. It commences after our med results are submitted to the CHC. This is a major activity -mainly concerning our 'safe inclusion' into the Canadian Soil; vis-a-vis, Political, Socio-Econmical, Anti-Social disposition, perceived Threat to Canada's integrity etc. This gets us the SDEC, CDEC & SECCRIM.

This is a serious & time-consuming stage, involving many agencies, including CSIS, Interpol, NASC, Database Checking & touch-base with Local Police. Many things are considered here... the No. of countries visited, Applicant coming from 'certain' countries, ex-Servicemen [including Law Enforcement services], Prolonged stay in a country w/out sufficient docs to prove cause, frequent traveling to certain nations, your *Name (?), Inter-Religion/Nationality Marriages etc.

If everything is simple & straight, the file soon gets into the 'final review' stage. If there are any 'red flags', our case goes into a 'spin'. Then our file might go to the local Police/CID agencies; the outcome/timeframe of which is beyond the control of CIC. And thereby the timeframe can be anything [sometimes beyond 1yr]. But, usually this stage should be over by 5 months max. However, a point to be noted is that we can also be called for an Interview [at this stage], due to this reason.

i also belive that every one has gone through such posting & have experienced it so my question is that

if every thing is simple & straight then how long does it take to get final review

aslo when i shud expect my PPR1 request ?

i do not have any visit to any country in my history ( u frnds may concider me typical DESI Cool )

I think u can get your pp back in late december or Jan but not later than Feb 2014

I'm still awaiting my PPR 1 as I submitted my medicals way bk in May 2013! Does any1 has any idea tht how much it normally takes for PPR 1 after medicals these days?
