hi friend from may 13th your ecas shows 'medicals received' and july you got pp request, what you say as an ecas error?
since may you got medicals received it means your medicals were accepted by cic.... there is no point of error in it...

Last May, we were advised that our application is for review but until now there's no update yet from VO...
Hope very soon :) :) :)

I had sent a CSI in february 2013 and I got reply today after 6 months.

Now my Medicals is done, RPRF is encashed and they have requested passports in july which I have already sent still they gave me following reply.

"This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the High Commission of Canada in New Delhi .
Under Canada ’s immigration legislation, all immigrant applications are subject to statutory requirements, including medical and background checks. These requirements must be satisfied before an applicant may be granted permanent resident status. In this context, certain background investigations are being conducted in connection with your application. As these investigations are conducted by outside agencies, we have no purview over the processing time. We are therefore unable to give an exact time frame in which we expect to conclude the verifications on this case."

I believe background checks are done after medicals and before PPR right? What does this reply mean? Does this mean it is a standard reply?

it seems there is problem in your security background check which are still not completed by the screening agencies in your country and the countries you have already visited. otherwise all your case is clear, as soon as they will get BGC clearing they will

I dont have much travelling history. I just been to canada before and no other country

Don't worry dear its reguler reply........its only mean that your security background is in process and can not predict the time frame when it will over..........no new thing.......as you know that security background checs are the responsibility of outside agencies and they normally beyon the control of VO...when they over the checks they only give positive or negitive remaks on report...so don't worry it rutine processing and average time is 5 to 6 months.......
