'Medical results have been received' and Waiting for PPR

Sorry but I am having a hard time understanding peoples acronyms and abbreviations. I just find it odd that they asked my husband to do a medical and submit his actual passport all at the same time. Usually they ask for the exam an then they ask for your passport. When I look at my status online it says in progress.

Visa officer has the discretion to request pspt when he need to before or during or after MR ..

pl adhere to those instructions ans submit pspt etc as asked

Background checks begin after eligibility check and some verifications if not satisfactory continue after MR too ..

Security and Crimnality checks commences post Medical Results subjec to satisfactory and if no furtherance required

My Background checks are outstanding and these may take several months to complete.

It's been almost a year and 2 months after my medical and still no Visa!!!

what do you think??anybody can help how long it will takes more???

I'm so angry and nervous of this system ..

Criminality: In-progress
Medicalassed-Expired : MEDICAL IS EXPIRED AFTER 12 MONTHS, WHILE UR SECURITY IS IN PROCESS, NORMALY SECURITY CHK COMPLETED IN 3-6 MONTH BUT IN UR CASE IT IS NOT COMPLETED, THERFORE THEY DELAYED AND MEDICAL EXPIRED. I PRAY THAT ALL OF SECURITY CHECK IS OK AND FINE. I HOPE IN NEXT BFD DATE THEY WILL SEND U REMEDICAL AND PPR AS WELL AT THE SAME. PLEASE DONT BE NERVOUS AND ANGRY, THIS IS VISA OFFICER STYLE AND UR & UR FAMILY LUCK AS WELL. I HOPE ALL WILL BE FINE SOON AND UR PPR WILL BE BEFORE THE END OF THIS YEAR.

one of our friend got MR + PPR when his his BDEC was blank before it was 0. So i think B/g completes when BDEC = blank

Well Look like majority of applicant files are stuck with background checks.

It’s been noticed that the time taken for background check by LVO is different for each one and it could be 3 to 12 months, depends on case and correctly filled Schedule A form (in personal history section there should be no Gaps)

Otherwise applicant has to fill it again and wait another 4 months for Visa officer to review it (it happened with me ) once VO find it acceptable, file will move to next step i.e. background check => means security & criminality check.

Generally on CSE inquiry LVO, states that:

1) Your Background checks are outstanding and these may take several months to complete.
We will advise further when in a position to do so.

2) Please be advised that your file is currently undergoing routine background checks. We will be in contact with further information once these checks are complete.

3) Please be advised that we are awaiting the results of routine background enquiries. Your continued patience is appreciated.

And what is the significance of having S.15 (1) in our GCMS notes?

could you please tell us after sending filled up forms with medicals and fees, i would like to know when did VO responded you for the personal form to be filled again?
please could you tell us the how long ?
