Hello,
I am in a difficult situation. VO emailed me today asked to submit the scanned copy of my home country's ID card. Now I left my country over 8 years ago and I never had ID card. In fact I never applied for it.
Also I have to be physically present in my country to apply as I need to provide my finger print. Its not physically possible for me to apply as I dont live in my country. By the way VO gave me 5 days to submit.

Now I contact the authority in my country who provide ID card. They said they only can give me in writing in a letter head paper. Will that be accepted at this time ? Does any one have any experience on this? Can VO reject my application for not being able to provide what he requested? Please share your experience and thoughts. I would appreciate your time.
Thank you.

Hi Sabu

I think its a very specific situation with you. Only VO can reply to you. I think whatever proof you are getting you should send to them along with the CSI for further guidance by VO.

Good Luck

Badar

Home country ID can be PAN Card, Driving License, Voting Card.....

If you have anyone of this, please send it

They will not withdraw the documents they asked but Hopefully they will allow the additional time for that :-)

Thanks s lot for your reply mate .I don't have any one of them. I left the country over 8 years ago and I never applied for them.
But I convinced the authority to give me a letter. Hope it will be ok to VO.
Cheers mate.
