dear you should see my post again.......what we write in post its expereince of many people....and most of people got this excetley the same situation as i mentioned in my post....i myself also have 24 months processing time and still waiting for PPR...there are many other hidden factors affecting the processing time as mention below.
1. Travel history
2. backlog of old cases
3. file queue
4. batch processing
5. awaiting or pending review
these all things if you take under consideration then you can see that these factors affecting our processing time it may be more then 21 months.
there are many people waiting for PPR....and all the cases are unique and processed on the case to case basis....we can make a good guess...but we can not say definitely any thing.
In this forum we are sharing our views and perception and these things are not 100 % correct........

exactly....Exactly, there’s nothing so definite as in mathematics. Coz , if u talk abt my case, I am 2007 applicant. My time framework is just 63 months whereas I have crossed more than 75 weeks. Moreover, many of the pre 2008 applicants have been rejected after keeping them wait for 5/6 years by CIC and they are appealing as litigants……..even we people are getting scared coz u never know when and why CIC changes its policies and rules and regulations. And, as hope786 said , travel history may elongate the timeframe as they need to obtain security clearance from each of the country you have stayed for more than six years……..there are soooooo many reasons. In my case, our medical has expired and it’s been soo long since we paid rfpf fee…………waiting has become a part of our daily life.
And the main thing is CIC is very very irresponsible or what they are working in a snail pace after all they are being paid a handsome amount for their job, so why should they bother what is happening with applicants bcoz of them…right????
Anyways, lets be patient and hope for the best.
