'Medical results have been received' and Waiting for PPR

still waiting for my baby medical...hope to receive it soon inshaAllah....

just now i called to Dr for confirmation and Dr. confirmed that they have uploaded my medicals Yesterday. now pray for my medical line. nekeol

I have asked many times but still not clear about below points, pl. Help.

1. We are 3 members and i am going alone first in February and my wife and son will join later, How much POF i should show and in which form? If i will open an account with scotia bank and carry the statement then do i need to declare that in declaration form??

2. If my POE is Calgary then can i land at Toronto Pearson Airport for first time?? Will it be ok?

3. Once i land and show full POF for 3 persons, then do my wife need to carry any other statement or proof of fund with her while coming later?

I was going thru the post all this while, I am too sailing in the same boat, mentioned below are my timelines. I applied under FSW, My visa office is NDVO

1. Application submitted Jun-2010.
2. First AOR received Oct-2010
3. Application In process May-2012
4. Received Medical, RPRF, PPT, PCC request OCT-2013
5. Medical done on Nov-2013
6. All documents with fees etc sent to NDVO on Nov-2013.
7. Ecas updated with Medical results have been received on Nov-2013

Please advice by your experience how much time will it take for stamped visa and Passport. I know this is the most redundant but important question.

POF first time and must be with Principal applicant, who has to land first or together with all family member. if u r princiapl applicant then POF must be with you only
Statement of nova scotia bank is also accepted but it mus be Latest one and u have to declare in your declaration form as you are landing first time.
for FSW they can land any where in Canada even the POE is Calgary but provincial category I don't know...
I will suggest take any connecting flight to Calgary for you only first time to avoid any tensions.

from the date you submitted updated documents request, Security BGC take 06-12 months, if your BGC already passed then your VISA is due but if not then it may take maximum of 3 more months, i.e approximate date must be March 2014 for your visa issuance. NEKEOL

Dear jaydeepdave..

Sure you can land alone, however it is always Prudent to land with entire family for whom PR is applied. In most cases it has been noticed that there is lot of scrutiny by the Immigration officer on the reason why did not you joined the primary applicant during first visit. I reckon if possible take your entire family along and get all the PR document sorted and they might come back post receiving their individual PR cards...

1 year from the date of final approval of officer
If all OK then 1 week your medical is approved normally

the date when Medical received line appears in the system.

the date when Medical received line appears in the system.

Normally medical received line appears for GCC residents only,
so you can consider the expiry of medical (1 year + 1 week from the medical done date)
