I think it was done long time ago just...( you know what).
I have seen few people like you and after remedial got passport request wiethen no time.
A question after how many days they answered your email.

Yes visa is valid for one year after medicals...even if you get visa 10 months after medicals, it will be valid for next two months...in some cases VO can grant only 1 or 1.5 month extension but it totally depends on them.

That's correct, in worst case land there and come back after one week...and then your friend or relative in Canada can send you PR Cards by courier....simple and safe solution.....in my opinion do not disturb visa office for visa extension....
Do smooth landing as per original Visa ...you will be stress free...

I did the medical test in June 2013 and after two weeks it is shown " 'Medical results have been received"

and in September 2013 I got e mail from VO to send updated documents for my wife and I did in October 2013,

then I sent e mail for VO asking them about my case and should I wait for more “ as I already did the Medical test for me and my family 4 months ago” they replied that my file is under background check and they need months to finish it,

Their reply as below,

“This refers to your recent message. The background check is underway and could take several months more. This step in the processing, sometimes quite lengthy, is followed very closely by our section. We understand that the waiting time can be difficult and we assure you that your application will be finalized as quickly as possible.”

Does anyone have same case?
And for how long this “background check “takes,

any Ideas?

Dear Senior members & the ones who has landing experience.

My question is about Immunization under 16 year of age.

In regular vaccination process here in Pakistan, vaccination for Mumps, Rubella (German Measales) & Haemophilus Influenza B is not part of the regular process....does it impact while taking admissions in schools if above three are marked as N.A. on Immunization form?
