Medical Requested after more than 4 months

I applied on 24th of April for September intake and they requested the medicals today.

All this period , it was indicated that we do not need a medical exam !!!

What should I do ?

Most probably I will not be able to make it for Fall intake and there is no deferral system in my Department, so I will not have a new offer for Jan ?

Should I make the medicals ??

It always says you don't need medical until they ask for it. Has your semester not started already? If you don't want a study permit anymore then don't do medical otherwise do it and find another course/school.

No, I want the study permit. But I mean it has been more than 4 months and they did not ask early !!

They usually ask for medical towards the end of the process so you don't do medical and then get denied for other reasons which would be a waste of money.
