Thank God, I got the letter requesting me and my partner to undergo medical and to pay the RPRF. Also our interview has been waived. So happy today.

Good luck to all of us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No i dont think it may take a year......... i guess its a matter of 3 months but really i am not sure.

i mean the whole process

hi... Congratulations.

i just started finalizing my informations and my documents for Canada Permanent / Migration Program.

I find hard in one of their forms on Item Questions - VISA OFFICE REQUESTED FOR THE PROCESS OF MY APPLICATION?

Im currently leaving in the Philippines. Should i put Centralized Intake Office / Manila Office?

Pleased help me.

Hope to hear from you.

Many Thanks,

Yup, u guys are correct. It took a long time before that much awaited medical request came, probably because they needed more time in reviewing and verifying my application. I am here in USA, I applied in CIC-MANILA and my lawyer is based in Ontario. Also, when we submitted the full documents last March 09, my lawyer is not aware of the "office/country specific requirements" needed such as the personal networth form. So my advise to all applicants, if you live overseas and your application was lodged in your home country, know the needed requirements so your application won't be delayed.

to JHOY18, are you sending your documents to CIO ( central intake office ) to Nova Scotia for eligibility screening?
I am really not sure of the answer to your question. Try to search for that topic here, I am positive I came across that same question that you have right now. But I suggest you visit this forum too...http://lbautista.proboards31.com, very informative forum too, mostly filipinos.

So, goodluck on your application.

Jhoy. if you are finalizing your application after the visa office gave u 120 days than u can write "YES" to it and vice versa.

JHOY...good question....you should put "MANILA, PHILIPPINES" not NOVA SCOTIA....

Have a friend who applied last July and got a rejection letter saying that NOVA SCOTIA is not a valid option. They returned the application after 60 days and my friend resend again the full package last week...

Congrats Reydon! That was very fast, what class did you apply to? My application was lodged late 2004.

I had my medical exams done 3rd wk of June this year and had paid the PRF that same month, but until now I haven't received yet any notice from CIC Manila. Is there anyone here who's aware of the latest lead time to receive the passport request from completion of medical exams.

Good luck to everyone!

the_don, I am a registered nurse here in Los Angeles. You mean one has to wait approximately more than 3 months after medical before CIC-MANILA request for the passport? Gosh! that is too long. I am planning to go per diem at work after my medical this week but I guess I have to delay it not until CIC requested my passport.

Do you have any idea where the medical result will go for evaluation? In my case, I am doing it here in LOS ANGELES.

BTW, thank you to all of you guys who provided enlightenment and answers to all my queries during the process. You guys have been really helpful.

Good Luck.
