Hello guys,

Just want to have an advise if anyone here has similar experience. I applied for my Mom's Super Visa last month, and I didn't expect that the IRCC will request a medical examination for her quickly. So my Mom just got a major surgery last week, and thankfully, it was a successful operation currently recuperating from it. I am just wondering if this will affect her medical examination? Any one has similar experience?

Depends on the reason for surgery and type of surgery. Not an ideal time to go do a medical either.

Thanks for the response @canuck78

@canuck78 My mom just got a Mastectomy surgery last week. Just after we submitted her Super visa application, I asked my Mom to do a routine check up just to make sure she is well and healthy. That's when she noticed a small lump on her breast. So she immediately consult a specialist and biopsy report it's in the early stage of cancer. Doctors immediately scheduled her for a mastectomy operation. Doctors said its a successful operation and she's currently recovering from it. One week before the operation, we received a medical request,.. I know it's not ideal to do medical because I want her to recover first and be healthy,. Now, my question is can this affect her chance to pass the medical? I already did asked an extension to do her medical because there was no available slot for the panel physicians in my home country and appointment that I've got is 3 months from now
