No i submitted PCC from india before. they already got that. I never been to any other country since i submitted my last application. May be that is why they ask only uk PCC.

UK PCC usually take 10 working day for standard application. so i am planning to send it first thing on monday so it should be fine. if i dont received it in time i can always ask for Premium service in 2 working day as you mentioned.

my worry is medical. On medical request form is 60 days. But another letter they ask for other updated forms and Pcc and medical. on that letter it says 30 days of this letter.

i am not sure i will get the medical request within a week or so or not. i am bit worried. i am try to finish asap. but it good to have deadline extended ( it always the safer case)

do you know what things we got to look after for medical ?

thanks

medicals are done within 2 hours, not a problem at all. If your local DMP is booked, you can go to another city.
I live in Glasgow and went to Manchester for medicals because all local DMPs were fully booked for 1 month ahead.
Medicals comprise X-ray, urine, blood tests and a very quick check by general practitioner. You are worried for no reason ;D
Make sure that your designated medical practitioner will finish all tests in one sitting (so that you do not need to go to other hospitals for X-rays etc.).

I had a very small kidney stone 3 years ago. I never had a problem after that. I also had gum deases called linkem pinus. As people on this g thread written its very common gum deaseas and 7 out 10 even dont know that they have this.

what kind of health reason affect medical condition. do you know by any chance ?

thanks for your all help

They look for transmittable diseases: TB, AIDS etc.
You will be asked about your health history on your medical date and your DMP will mention this in the report for London.

do you recommend that i mentioned kidney stone and all to medical practioner.
as i am working full time and its quite difficult to get medical history and all from nhs. I spoke to one practiosioner and they said bring all the medical history if you have any problem.

do you think i go and get this history ?

I believe it is Better to prepare well for your first medical than to receive request for additional medicals later. Btw, have you extended UK visa? I just got a new visa at Glasgow public enquiry office. There was no interview at all. I was afraid that the caseofficer will interrogate me why I updated my police registration certificate late and have a "warning" stamp, but he did not even mention this. All processing was done in the backoffice within one hour. No interviews at all.

cogratulation. that is great news. now you are waiting for canada ppr and job done.

I done my medical last tuesday. They said if any problem they will contact me in 2 working days. i havent heared anything from them so i presume all okay. finger crossed.

Have you checked whether meds were delivered? you can request courrier number from your clinic. In very rare cases nurses forget to send results. So better to check.

hi ketavan,,
do you know anything about below..............

Hi

I have been asked for request for medical and additional updated forms. I have done medical but i am bit confused about how much fee i have to pay. My visa office is london

In the letter they asked for RPRF FEE. I seen on the website it says $ 550 for processing fee + $490. total for an applicant is $ 1040.

1) How much fee i need to pay only $ 490 ? or i need to pay processing fee as well ?

2) I live in uk. can i pay this fee in Bank draft in canadian dollar payable to Receiver General for Canada.

3) do i need to fill fee payment form IMM 5620 along with bank draft ?

Please advise as i am not sure and want to submite file by next week.

thank you

Ketavan,

when you submite your medical request, and all document...how much fee you paid ? $ 550 + $ 490 ???

I paid $ 550 in 2009 when i first sent my file. so do you know how much i have to pay ? I guess only $ 490 landing fee ?

thanks,

in my case, All fees were paid at the time of initial application, 550+490. My attorney suggested to pay everything from the beginning to save time later.
