Just had a Medical Reassessment Request For Spouse week Before ,

Anybody Here in same situation here.

Anyidea, How long it takes after Finish Medical Reassessment.

I observe that your medical results are expired at this moment as you did that in Oct 2014. Based on what I read in this forum, below is my GUESS

- Your case is now at final review stage by the officer
- As current medical results have been expired (by law it has 1 year valid), regional medical office will take one of the 2 actions - request for medical reassessment or extending the validity of your current medical results. Therefore, in this case I guess they are extending your own medical results and ask for a reassessment for your spouse

If I am correct, in case your spouse has no issue with health, then be happy to take reassessment ASAP. If the result is OK, you would be very close to PPR

Really Appreciate your view. Already did reassesment medical on 8th Jan, and called cic on 13th that they received the results..

hi I am September 2014 pnp inland,you seem like your in a similar situation to me , I called cic jan 6 2016 and they told me they had sent my medical for reassessment and they will be in touch soon, they have not requested me to redo them yet I'm hoping they will just extend validity, do you think this is the last stage for us before we can land ? And how long are you thinking it will take ?

Seriously, Now I do not have any expections from cic for getting PPR soon, but some of friends here in forum, they are really helpful and saying it is a final stage.

I hope we will get it done soon.

yeh i dont expect it too qwik ,I called them on Jan 6 and they told me everything else looks good they sent my old medicals to cic doctor for reassessment, I read that medicals are only valid for 12 month and may have to be re done or can be extended but they can only request for extension if it's pending a final decision, which means this could be last stage , just trying to work out how long it can take
Hopefully we are not left for too long fingers crossed !
