Its just came into my mind, if anyone knows that during medical examination, TB test is taken ?

As such in US, people who comes from India ...got TB test positive normally, if it comes positive in medical for Canada process, what happens to case ?

Have any idea ?

1. Positive x-ray
2. Sputum test, 6-8 weeks incubation.
3. Re x-ray, if TB is positive, refusal or deferral until treatment taken.
4. If inactive, must report for surveillance in Canada.

X-ray is most important. If doubtful, other tests may be ordered as PMM has suggested. The decision will be made by Canada office doctors. Usually any positive test means rejection.Tuberculin test (skin test), however, is usually positive for most developing country residents and does not mean rejection unless proven by other tests.
