cic tracker showed Medical passed in 14th may for fall admission. Got no update after that. Is it normal?
Anyone got update after medical for fall 17? How's the rejection possibility? I am really worried. Thanks.

Comment on this thread if you get any updates. I am like you applied March 23rd, medical request 24th April, medical done 25th and passed on april 29th still waiting.

Hello, Msc (research based).. partial funding (80%) in alberta.

How's the rejection possibility after medical ? Can I take it (medical passed) as a positive signal ? I was requested for medical exam 11th may and I submitted my application 1st may.

I don't have personal experience but if medical is passed I don't think you should be rejected but then again not sure :/

It is said that if medical was requested then there is a chance for a positive answer. You have better chances because you are funded by the university. But, at end of the day it's all on Allah's hand.

You can get rejected after passing medical exam. I can tell you that from personal experience and from CIC literature.

However, since you have 80% funding you can be relieved as CIC takes funded cases quite nicely and they tend to approve such applications.

From your thread I can understand that you applied on the 1st of May so you still have 5 more days to the 4 week wait time which is published for the moment for Bangladesh. As soon as the this 4 weeks are over, you should (or I would say you MUST) send them a letter through the online form asking them to expedite your application. This will help you to get the results faster.

About the rejection, normally what happens is that when the CIC has done some work on your application, you medical tests get updated. If they wanted to reject you, they would have done so the very next day after medical passed. Or if they had already decided on approving you application, they would have done so the very next day too.

I believe that they might be doing some background checks and flagged your application as such. Maybe you have not yet uploaded your police certificates? Have you done that already? If not, they you should get that done because they might soon ask you for that.

this is the form he is talking about. Relax wait a month BD applications take time. I applied March 23rd medical came April 24th, link you application online so that you can see updates faster but wait for a month from the day application was received and hopefully you'll get news. P.S if any of you bangladeshis get updates please let me know, medical passed 29th april and still no news
