Hey guys, could this be a good or bad thing? My medical was updated today (passed although expired) and got BVL at the same time. What I usually see is medical will be updated first then BVL a few days or weeks after. Do you someone who experienced the same thing? I'm so nervous right now!

Hi, My brother applied for his SP for fall 2021 intake and we are in the same situation. Both medicals passed and BVL on the same day. Did you have any updates you can share ? We are all very anxious here. Any update will be very helpful. It’s been a while since your post so I hope you got your Study permit visa already

Hey Kuldip, thanks for your response. Let’s keep updating here. It’s long weekend here in Canada so Monday the offices will be closed. We will have any updates on Tuesday

Be positive and less worry guys. Based on my observation, it might be a bad sign if you receive BVL without 'Medical passed', and in that case, Refusal decision is also received immediately after 2 or 3 days.
It's different with you guys cases, it has been more than a week since you guys received BVL so it's just about time to receive PPR.

Thanks for your encouraging response, are you waiting for an approval too? Did you apply for study visa ?

Yes, we are waiting for a SP for my wife, a SOWP for me, and TRVs for 2 young kids :)
I applied thru my consultant so I could not know if there is any update in the GCKeys.
Btw, wish you guys would receive PPR soon.

Oh that’s great. I hope you receive your SP visa soon. I read an article where it says now 90% of the study visa applications are being accepted. Keep faith and you’ll also get your PPR soon fingers crossed!!

I applied for Study permit on 4 May with upfront medical exam.
My biometric completed on 7 May.
Review of eligibility started on 20 May.
My medical status hasn't been updated yet. It is right now "You do not need a medical exam. We will send you a message if this changes"

I've already uploaded my upfront medical exam(e-medical certificate).

Hi,
My brothers around the same time line.
does your application show medicals passed ?
Since it says you don’t need medical exam, wait for this to be updated first. You’ll get an update that says medical passed and then PPR hopefully, fingers crossed.

Hi,
Just waiting is all we can do. Most of the people here are around the same timeline.
Applied in May
Medicals and biometric done.
although, there are other threads where applicants from April are posting their timelines and most of them got their PPR within 17 to 23 days.
