Medical Passed, Processing Background Check

Hi guys,

My Medical passed on Jul 12, since 18th July it shows that We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.

Can anybody me help in which stage my application is and how long it will take to get a confirmation from CIC.

I am still waiting for PR. My medical passed on july 12, 2018. I sent an email to cic and they said "we are doing an additional verification of your background check. I don't know what does it mean? but i am still waiting.,.,

In July, was it an upfront medical or was it the one CIC requested to undergo again? When did you originally submit your application?
I’ve been seeing a lot of posts on forums of people waiting for such a long time this year, my friend’s boyfriend has been waiting since early spring, that’s when he submitted his EE after he got PNP. ‍

I received AOR on July 7th, 2018. just after five my medical passed since that time it shows "we are processing your background check" My few friends got PPR request between 4 to 5 months. I asked an immigration consultant regarding an additional verification on my file.,. he said it takes little longer to get PPR request because third party agency is doing additional screening. It could be six month or may be more than six month this is what he said.,., I will wait until 15th of Nov then I will apply for BWOP.
