Hi everyone, let's share our experience of Permanent Residence Application with CIC under Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program.

Hello everyone, below is the timeline with MPNP
Fyi, Destination City is Winnipeg, MB.
NOC:- 6552
Visa Office is New Delhi, India.

1. EOI (Expression of Interest):- 28 August 2015
2. Letter of Advice:- 10 September 2015
3. MPNP Application submitted online:- 29 September 2015
4. Sponsor/Supporter's telephonic interview:- 17 February 2016
5. Confirmation of Nomination (Province):- 4 March 2016
6. Application (paper) for Permanent Residence sent to CIC Nova Scotia:- 06 May 2016
7. Application Received by CIC Nova Scotia:- 01 June 2016
8. Confirmation for receiving in email:- 17 August 2016
9. File Transferred to local Visa Office (New Delhi, India):- 11 October 2016
10. Medical Request:- 16 December 2016
11. Medical Done:- 19 December 2016
12. Asked to pay RPRF (Right of Permanent Residence Fee) + Scanned copy of Passport:- 19 December 2016
13. Paid RPRF + sent scanned copy of passport + scanned copy of eMedical tracking sheet (given by physician): - 20 December 2016
14. Medical Passed (changed status is MyCIC account):- 24/25 December 2016
15. Passport Request awaited

Hello,

Yes, I got the Passport Request Letter (via email) on 14th February 2017 i.e. 58 days from the date I got myself medically examined. You should be expecting your Passport Request Letter within next two weeks, I suggest you to continue checking your email inbox; the email shall be sent from DELHIIMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca

In the request letter you shall be asked to submit two photographs (of yourself and any accompanying member), you might want to have them ready beforehand, here's the link to read the photograph specification (show it to the photographer of your choice): -

And in order to send the passport to New Delhi Visa Office, you will need to visit the nearest VFS Global office; you can find one near you at http://www.vfsglobal.ca/canada/india/contact_us.html

There will be a fee charged by VFS Global at the same time, the fee was INR 1,008 in my case.

PS: Make sure to read the email carefully despite of the above suggestions, for any possible recent change(s).

In my case, it took less than 10 days from Background check in process to Passport Request; you should expect the email from New Delhi Visa Office soon. Meanwhile you can check the status of your on the eCAS portal as well (it might say DECISION MADE already) by visiting the link https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/security.do?lang=en&_ga=1.154257968.94825479.1470142740

my medical was done on 23 dec 2016 and passed on 30 dec waiting for PPR.

And thanks for replying to my post in detail.

In application status, it is confirming till Medical Received only but have not confirmed anywhere about receiving of PCCs and RPRF fees.

I have sent the PCCs to Delhi Office and paid RPRF fees online 3 days before going for medical.

Is it the same way it happened for you also.

Yes, eCAS notes are brief, precise and may not show detailed description; mine still has the last update till 'Medical Received'. MyCIC account notes are rather insightful but whichever (eCAS or MyCIC) shows more update(s) works the best.

You're only little away from getting the PPR, all the best!
