Medical Notification Waiting time

I was just wandering if people could let me know how long they waited from the time their application had been "received" to when they were given their go ahead to get a medical done. I have been waiting 6 months at the moment.

this was always unpredictable. and these days, it is even more unpredictable. i applied in March 2012, got aor May 31st, then medicals on September 5th. So, it seemed as expected. However, there were people who applied at the same time as me and hadn't even received their AORs by September.

Now, many of the people who got their medicals and AORs months after me, have already landed!
Me, I got RPRF and biodata last week, but no passport request.

So, there is absolutely NO trend based on this forum. At first, it seems that applications are moving along together. Then, suddenly, everything goes haywire.

So, don't drive yourself crazy. Seriously.
A few weeks ago, when I got approval for a closed-work permit following labour market opinion, I stopped thinking about getting an email from CIC. Then, surprisingly, I got that RPRF/biodata email I mentioned earlier. Before I got my closed-work permit, I was checking my email a dozen times a day.

Just, try to focus on something else...it will come when you aren't looking.

I am doing the same thing everyday now you enlightened me LOL
