Hello All,

I have applied Spousal Sponsorship visa on 17th feb 2013 my application status changed to In Process on 17 Aug 2013 but now my Medical is going to repairer on 30 jan 2014 , can any one suggest now what i have to do ?

Hey Baljinder,

Medical does expire if the visa is not given within that year. Depending on your application, if there is an interview... then they will return your passport after the interview and ask for you to re-do the medicals. If there is no interview, the medical might still be required to be re-done. But you have to wait for them to request for new medicals, also.. you need your passport for medical right. It's a helpless situation, you know what's going to delay the process and still cannot do anything without their instructions!

I know how you feel. I knew my husband's medical will expire but we had to just sit and wait.

Hi Raman,
we applied for GCMS notes and in the notes they mentiond - Medical - Passed , Eligliblity - Passed , marriage - Approved , background Check and sec check not started but now my Medical is going to expire on 31th jan 2014.

Yes , mp says everything is ok but your file is pending for final review . I dont know what is the mean of final review and also m afraid because mu medical is going to expire on 30th jan ???
 
They can opt to extend your medical. It is up to the VO. You may or may not have to redo it. You will just have to wait and see what happens.

I got my dm today just before my medical expire that's 7th feb........mp says everything is ok but your file is pending for final review means u going to get DM very soon...u might get a call and ask u to fly before your medicals expire that's what happened to me I got a call 5 days back telling me that my visa has been issued and I need to fly before my medicals
generally the medicals get extended 3 weeks or so...I did my medicals on 17th jan but when I ordered my notes I saw an extension till 7th feb..

try sending new delhi email SUBJECT - URGENT MEDICALS EXPIRING 31ST JULY IN PROCESS SINCE AUGUST ....maybe this might help- I sent them 5 emails last week....and I got dm today..
