Medical insurance from India

Hi all,

Need suggestion for medical insurance from India. What are the prime factors to be considered when buying the insurance? Any competitive? and your experience (god forbid) in case of claim settlement.

My destination is Toronto, so I guess I will need it for 3 months, please correct me if I am wrong.

It is a good idea to buy medical insurance for the first 3 months, but I will recommend to buy it from a Canadian Insurance Co. The insurance should be cashless and pre existing medical conditions should be included.

Hi,

I would suggest first 7 days of icici or any indian Travel insurance (to cover baggage loss etc) and any Canadian insurance providers like Manulife for 3 months.
