Medical Insurance for Visitors to Canada

Hi,
I am looking for medical insurance for visitors to Canada. Age 61 and 58 respectively. However I need insurance that covers small trips to a doctor if required not just emergencies. Would anyone have suggestions and company recommendations from personal experience ?

The kind of insurance you're looking for will be extremely expensive since insurance companies are in the business of making money and will try to make sure that whatever you pay is greater than what they have to pay out in expenses.

Generally speaking, it is cheaper to buy insurance to cover emergencies and then pay for small trips to the doctor out of your own pocket.

Normal travel emergency insurance will cover trips to the doctors, as long as the reason for visit was an unexpected one (so not for a pre-existing condition or a regular checkup).
