Thanks! I worried that the doctor placed a grade (B) to my son, just because of the ADD, whereas all other family members, including myself as a primary applicant - are graded (A).

As long as there is no risk to public safety, you shouldn't worry.

I had my medical this Monday (Nov 13, 2017) for PR. Our medical examiner wants a letter from my daughter's physician regarding their health conditions.

I applied for PR as a provincial nominee (Alberta) under economic class. They (my daughters) had specialists for their disease (Glycogen Storage Disease Type 6). Their last check up with the specialist was in January 2017. Since they well under control and only thing they need at this time is regular yearly check up with the genetic specialists and some blood test for vitamin 'D' I think. According to my estimation Alberta Health System would pay for both of their annual check up and lab test less than $2000.00. My questions are:

1. Are these ($2000.00 per year for both of my daughters) excessive amount? The amount may be 200-300 more. This is just my estimation.

2. Are they exempted from excessive medical demand in terms of cost? NOTE: THIS DISEASE IS NOT CONTAGIOUS AND NOT A RISK TO PUBLIC.

Since my PR application falls under provincial/economic class I am not sure if the exemption clause would be applicable to my case.

Information regarding my questions would be appreciated?

If everything goes ok then how long it would take to get our PR card staring today (Nov 14, 2017)?

You should be posting your questions to the economic section of the forum rather than family class. Completely different medical rules for family class.

1. Excessive demand is $6,500 or more per year / per person. IRCC won't just look at this year - they will project ahead 5-10 years and anticipate any medical needs they may have in the future.

2. No - they are not exempt from excessive demand in terms of cost. Since you applied through the economic stream excessive demand based on cost applies. The exemption only applies to family sponsorship.

Exemptions from inadmissibility on grounds of excessive demand

As per paragraphs R24, R117(g) and R139(4), excessive demand determinations under A38(1)(c) do not apply to:

spouse, common-law partner or conjugal partner
a dependent child (including an adopted a child) of the sponsor, or of the sponsor’s spouse, common-law partner or conjugal partner;

What is your question?
A spouse doesn't need to worry about excessive medical demand.
Are you being sponsored by your spouse? Or are you going through PR application via economic streams (EE PNP..etc)? Or are you being sponsored by your adult child via PGP?
The inadmissibility question is different.
