Medical In Dubai

Hi Everyone,

I am going to take a medical test this Saturday so I can apply for immigration as conjugal partner. The form is asking in which visa office will the application be processed. I was going to write down Abu Dhabi but I was checking the website and it said "All new Family Class applications must first be mailed to the Case Processing Centre in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada."
I think that means I should write down Mississauga but I wanted to double check if anyone here knows for sure. This application is making me doubt everything I feel like I have to be very very very careful

Write down the visa office that will make the decision on your file (ie Abu Dhabi). They are asking for the visa office that will be making the decision on the applicant (Mississauga does a preliminary check to approve the sponsor, not the applicant).

I am a little confused now. The website also says they will give us instructions on how to get the medicals after they receive our application while the application checklist says medical exams required.
So do I get the medical exam before applying or after???

Hmmm....is your partner a Canadian citizen or PR already who is sponsoring you through the family class or is your partner applying through another class (eg FSW) with you as a dependent?

I ask because the instructions are different. For family class, you should to do the medical exam upfront and submit proof you too, it with your application - see the Middle East instructions at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/guides/3911e.pdf for example. In contrast, for FSW, you do the medical exam after applying.
