Dr. Abolarin is good. He sent my medical to CIC within 3 days.

Go with Dr. Sabetai Grunberg. She is awesome. She actually cares about you and you can book online.

very true. I went to her too and my medicals was sent very quick too.

I would strongly suggest Dr. Sabetai Grunberg and her website is http://www.grunberg.ca/

She is the only e-medical enabled Physician in Calgary. That means your medicals will be forwarded to CIC within couple of days from the date of its completion.

May I know where did you do your lab tests? I am not very familiar with Calgary and we ( with my wife and daughter) plan to have our medical at Dr. Grunberg's clinic next week.I am hoping that all the medical procedures will be finished in just one day as we live 3 hours away from Calgary. Thanks!

Hi Bukyder,

The medical with doctor was only 20 mins. The good side with Dr. Abolarin is, I got the appointment right away. I tried to call other doctors (Dr. Grunberg, Dr. Sandhu, Dr. Lam, etc.) but they were so busy that I could not book an appointment that fast.

The second thing is, I have completed my lab test (blood+urine) on Jan 20 and Doctor sent my report on Jan 22. My Ecas status got updated on Jan 25 saying "Medical results have been received." Now waiting for the next step.

To be honest with you, for immigration medical, it does not matter how the doctor is. Because doctors do not give you any treatment. They will prepare your report and forward it to CIC. Then, CIC will review your medical. So, my recommendation is, go to the doctor who can process your medical faster.

Thanks!

Hi Aanns13,

Thank you for your response. This is so helpful. So far, Ive called 2 doctors and the earliest schedule they could give is March. I dont wanna wait that long. I wanted to book with Grunberg because she has this emedical thing but she's got so many patients.

After the medical exam, will the doctor let you know at least that your results are okay?

Almost all the immigration doctors are now e-medical doctors. So when you call, you can ask them. Dr. Abolarin is e-medical doctor as well.

I did my blood and urine in Gulf Canada Square as I live and work in Downtown. But, after you are done with the doctor, you have to call Calgary Lab Service's at 403-770-5136 to book an appointment. While you book your appointment, you can choose your place and time.
