I was asked for sputum test for my son. but i had gone for bronchoscopy earlier. My DMP says since bronchoscopy is more advanced than sputum test ,hence the sputum test is not required and he is sending the reports of bronchoscopy to the CHC with the note that the sputum test is not required.Is it OK? Please advise.

follow DMP's advice....whatever he may decide cannot ruin ur case....

his opinion is accepted by the VO. if they will have to insist for sputum test they ll again give u a chance...

In my case of canada (dependent +OPW) VISA, In the first MF, I was asked to do Lordotic Xray, After looking at the Xray and TB treatment history my DMP cleared me and gave a clearance certificate (The certificate was given by Chest Specialist in the same hospital,and sent by DMP to New Delhi). But now despite the clearance, I have got 2nd MF where they have asked me to go for 6-8 weeks Sputum test and Another Xray (If I dont produce the Sputum). I am surprised why after the clearance from DMP's side they are asking for Sputum test again ? If I go for Sputum test how much time it would take to get the Final decision on my VISA once I submit the Sputum results ? Kindly help. Also Is there a way I can go and stay with my husband and do these tests in Canada only, As I am losing precious time here in India and cant even apply for jobs with this uncertainty on my VISA?

1. The DMP doesn't make the decision, the MDs who work for Immigration make the decision. They said they want the sputum test, your DMP thinks s/he can overrule them. So guess who is going to win in that scenario?

Thanks for the Reply. I have gone for sputum test and results came negative. I have submitted the results (original) and passport to Canadian Embessy on 25th March. I wanted to know :

1. How long generally the Embessy take after submission of Sputum test results to arriave at the final decision on my Visa ?
2. I have got another Sponsorship job offer from UK, for the same how can I resuse my sputum test result as the original have been sent to Canadian Embessy ( I guess the results are valid for 6 months ) ? As far as I know UK visa office asks for original docs, will they accept the scanned copies of my sputum report ?

typhoid is not a communicable disease....it will not effect ur MR.....but it is better u take treatment for it...bring ur fever normal..then go for MR

Because during ur typhoid period and medicatoin there is a possibility that other urine test may have effect of it.

do worry about typhoid once again
