Hi all,

recently I have completed medical examinations for a student visa. I wanted to know if they are good for PR, in case I receive ITA within a year from the examination. The only information I could find was this one:

Q: Recently, I completed medical examinations for my Canadian Temporary Resident Visa/Work Permit/Study Permit. Must I complete additional medical exams for my Permanent Resident application?
A: Yes, you will have to undergo an additional medical examination.
Here: http://www.canadavisa.com/canadian-immigration-faq-medical-examinations.html

Thing is, I can't find any other info on that. For example, which "additional examination" would be required.

Can anyone advise me on that?

Thank you...

I went through CIC specifications and doesn´t say that a medical exam result is "exclusive" for PR application. I think that as long as is valid (1 year) you can use it for PR application, but not from ITA, it should be valid when you submit all documentation. For now I think you´re fine.

Hi all, I have 2 questions:

1. My wife has done medical for her study permit. Can we use it for our express entry PR?

2. She did her medical on May 29th, 2016. Till which day it will remain valid before we apply and received e-AOR? I read somewhere it has to have 6 months validity at the time of e-AOR. Does it mean her medical is valid till 28th November, 2016?

Thanks in advance!

Hey Monzur, How did you proceed? I am in similar situation. Could you use same medical or had to do new? Any information on this will be appreciated. Thanks.
