medical for spouse application - when to get it

I have browsed through the required documents for the family Class sponsorship for my common-law spouse.. I understand that CIC has authorized clinics that conducts medicals... should we proceed now with the medical and attach result with our application or do we wait for CICs instruction when we should take the medical after we submit our application.

You do the medical before you send in the application in most cases.
