Medical Expiry - Visa Dates - Urgent Reply

Hi there, seniors, I need your advice.. its urgent..

My wife's Visa shows:

Visa Issue Date: 22/03/2016

Visa Expiry Date: 12/06/2016

Medical Done: 02-June-2015


Question is, Is it ok, that my wife travels on 12-June-2016..

Reason ( we are not able to find seats before 09-june-2016) one agent is asking for more than 2000 Canadian dollars for one ticket for "One Way" ....

Again... Is it ok, that my wife travels on 12-June-2016 or if we are lucky enough to get ticket for 09-june-2016.

Please urgent reply needed....

Hi there,

I am pretty sure that it's the expiry date of the visa that's important not medical. If they gave it an expiry date after the date of the medical than I believe it's okay. If it was a problem, they would have made the expiry on the visa much earlier (before ur medical date expiry).

I advise though to get a ticket earlier than the expiry date of the visa...you never know what can happen, so to be safe just pay the extra. Better to be safe than sorry! & Congrats!

Thanks for your reply.. I just call the travel agent.. he says he can find 09-june-2016 ticket in reasonable price.. I don't know whether its ok to travel on 09/June or 12/June.. I have both option.. 12/June is very good option as its the direct Flight.. but medical expiry is on 01/June/2016.. bit confuse though..

Yes I think that is good. At this point all you should be worrying about is the expiry of the visa.

Don't take any chance. Try to land before 12 June. I missed my flight while coming from Karachi to Calgary via PIA , because I needed to take my luggage and check in again for the next connecting flight. I am an experienced traveller. Don't worry about extra expense. Congrats
