Medical expired but counterfoil valid

I just got my visa stamped and my counterfoil is showing valid in my GCKEY. However, my medicals were expired in June,2021.

I have already done a new upfront medical and sent it to IRCC in June via a webform. My confusion is that my document still shows it is valid with my old medicals as passed.

Can i travel now? Or should I wait for my new medicals to be updated?

Could they have automatically extended my medicals due to Covid?

My visa office is: New Delhi.

@Naturgrl any idea about this. There is someone in another thread who when ordered GCMS notes, got to know that medicals were automatically extended due to covid.
