I have to travel to the city where the authorized doctors for doing the medical exam for my common law application are next month and I would like to take advantage of this trip for doing it, but my application must be done two months later. Is the medical test valid if it has been done two months before?
How are these exams? Did some body do them?
Thank you

Medicals are valid for 12 months. You can wait 2 months after doing medicals to send in your PR application. It's recommended to time your medicals as close as possible to the date you send your PR application in because if you application takes more than the rest of the time your medical is valid for, you will have to do another one and that can delay your application. However, sometimes they extend the original medical.

The medical consists of the doctor asking you some questions, taking your height/weight/blood pressure, and then you do blood tests, urine tests, and an x-ray. My medical was pretty quick and painless. I was able to do the tests and the medical with the doctor in the same building.
