Hi everyone!
I've received ITA and I'm getting medicals but I've got a question... The doctor says he needs my UCI number but this is the first time I apply on CIC to anything so I'm pretty sure I don't have a UCI number. Does anybody know how the doctor should proceed if I don't have a UCI? I've told him to leave the space blank or fill it with N/A but he says it's not possible. Any thoughts, idea?
If this is the first time I aply to Express Entry, I don't have a UCI, I'm I correct on that?

Educate the doctor about EE and inform them that you want to undergo upfront medicals. Insist on eMedical. If they still want a reference number, quote your EE number. Show them the ITA letter and share the information available on the below links as well.

Medical examination confirmation

Purpose

To assess the health of the applicant and their family members

Document requirements

The medical examination confirmation is required upfront at the time of application.
The applicant must include the immigration medical examination (IME) number in their e-APR.
The applicant must provide a copy of either the information printout sheet or the Upfront Medical Report form [IMM 1017B], whichever the panel physician provides upon completion of the medical examination.

Exceptions are only made in rare circumstances (e.g., cancellation of appointment by panel physician at last minute without time to reschedule). In exceptional circumstances, CIC may accept proof that a medical appointment is scheduled; or a letter of explanation of best efforts (not a guarantee of acceptance).

Individuals who must submit this documentation

The principal applicant
Their spouse or common-law partner
Their dependent children, including non-accompanying

I have a related question...

I did my medical and got the print out to upload, but the doctor needs a document / report from one of my other doctors before she will upload my stuff with e medical.

Can I still apply anyway, or would it be better to wait till I'm sure my doctor submitted my things?

No harm in either applying right away or waiting it out. Everything in EE is online so CIC will get around to your Medicals whenever your doctor uploads the reports at their end.

How do you get here in Canada if you don't have UCI number
UCI=Client number
check at your permit paper

I'm not in Canada... That's why I don't have a UCI number. I'm applying from abroad.

Won't get your application rejected but definitely not a good sign at any age.

High cholesterol is not something that will affect your application. But it may affect your overall health. Please take is seriously.

Hi Everyone!

I have a question about medical exams, I hope someone can help me!!
I have 2 sons aged 7 and 4 and I would like to know what I should expect for their medical exams, do they have to have blood tests and x-rays done? They are quite aprehensive about doctors and I'm trying to make myself ready for what's coming ???

Mandatory for PA, spouse/common-law partner and dependent children whether accompanying or not.
