Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hi all,

Can I do the medical examination before applying and when applying just send it with the application before they give me instructions,
since the doctor who does this examination is already listed on the medical practitioner list?
(would like to start collecting all the needed papers in advance if possible)

"Medical Examination Instructions
Instructions on how to take the medical examination will normally be sent to you after you submit your application to the visa office.

Validity
You can only use your examination results in your application for 12 months from when you had the examination. If you are not admitted to Canada as a permanent resident within this time, you will be required to undergo another examination."

Applying for PR of course! ;)
Right - but through which stream? Spousal? Skilled Worker? Other?

The answer to your question will depend on the immigration stream.

Oh, sorry! Spousal. :)
In that case you definitely should do the medical in advance and submit proof that the medical has been completed with the applications.

For spousal applications, you're supposed to do the medical beforehand and submit proof. A small percentage of people have gotten away with doing the medical afterwards, but this approach typically creates delays.

Hi,
As I remember its best to send it with the application.
It took me less than an hour :)
You fill up some forms, chat with a doctor do x-rays and give urine..and that's it you are out.
You should also bring the exact amount of money for each test.
Just remember to save the three receipts as proof for CIC in your PR application.
Good luck :)

Ok, thank´s. I heard from an other Finn that she had to do the bloodtests etc as well.
But will book an appoitment as soon as posible, since there is only one doctor in Finland
on that practitioner list. :)
