Hi Members,

I and my wife have recently received ITA and due to submit all the required docs by Mar 21st. Now, the issue I am concerned about is that, my wife is 15 weeks pregnant and she cannot do the X-ray part of the medical examination for Canada. So, if mine and my wife's rest of the medical tests are submitted without the X-ray, it will be stated as "incomplete" in the submission.

In this case, what should I do? should I go ahead with submitting the incomplete medical test along with the rest? In that case, can I post my wife's full medical test after the delivery on Jun'18 along with my baby's documents? Will CIC refuse my submission for the "incomplete" medical test?

An elaborate explanation will largely help. Thanks in Advance/.

No, IRCC will not reject your application. You should be given a deferral letter by the panel physician that you upload along with her medicals. Your application will continue to be processed, but it cannot be finalized until your wife completes the medical. When your child is born, your wife should get her x-ray and your child will have to be added to the application and get his/her medicals as well. As per IRCC:

I’m pregnant. Can I wait until after I give birth to take the medical exam?
No. You will still need to undergo a medical exam even if you are pregnant. However, certain parts of the exam may be postponed until after you give birth (such as x-ray). In that case, your application will be assessed only after all mandatory medical requirements are met. You should discuss your options with the Panel Physician performing your medical exam.
Good Luck!

I am in same situation. I have submitted all the documents except x-ray with letter of explaination. Currently they are doing background check and my medicals are showing not yet passed. So, I am waiting until delivery.

Go ahead and submit everything except x-ray. It will only delay your application by few months until x-ray is submitted. But the positive side is with this we can add the child in the application and won't have to go through the process again to add the child.

Hi ,
Myself and my spouse applied our express entry application in Canada. As my deputation got over we moved back to India. My wife was pregnant when we applied , so we skipped the Xray part and took all other test and submitted with a letter of explanation from doc. (saying we will take one after delivery )
she delivered her baby and now we got our request letter from CIC saying to submit child's BC and spouse medical reports.
Since we moved before the application changed to in progress status, we cant change the address from online webform.
P.S - We applied our application on July30 2017 and we got our request letter by Jan5 2018.we are asked to submit the same by jan 17 2018.

please help us how to proceed!!!
