Rob_TO said:While not making an applicant inadmissible, several conditions do require the applicant to undergo medical surveillance after arriving in Canada (periodic check-ups or counselling with a designated doctor in Canada). They are testing for TB, Syphilis, HIV and numerous other things. What do you think the reason is they do a urine test in the first place? So if the urine test is contaminated with blood they may ask for a new test to get a clean sample. It all depends on the VO processing your application. It's up to you, and you can certainly chance they will not ask you to do another test.
The urine test does not show any of those. It's the same argument for weighing someone. Being overweight will not lead to further tests. TB is picked up by the X-ray and syphillis and HIV by the blood test. The worst blood in your urine is is bladder cancer or kidney failure. Neither of which are reasons to be denied.
