It has passed over a month and our remedical is not appearing on e-medical system,
After contacting visa office they advice me to perform upfront medicals. But the panel physician was only able to generate my upfront medical. The upfront medical report for my 2 children is still not generateable since the old expired medical i not removed from e-medical sytem. The physician is only able to generate a upfront only in the old medical is removed.
Today I again emailed visa office to resolve this issue. hopefully it will be resolved soon.

Thanks for the reply. We are in very much same situation. Even I got a remedical request about a month ago. When my IME`s were not seen on emedical system, even my doctor suggested to go for upfront medicals. But I thought of clearing this issue with visa officer, so I wrote a mail to him for clarification because as per cic`s handbook on medicals, its clearly written that for upfront medicals, one should not have any existing earlier medical file and also it is not for IME non EDE type`s. I believe almost all PR applicants medical forms are non EDE types. So, its my opinion that upfront medicals are not for us. Lets see what visa officer writes back.
Please update me in case you get any information in this matter. Thanks once again.

just joining the thread for reference later

Upfront Medical for me and my daughter is completed and i also have send the UMI number to CIC by email. but the upfront medical for my son was not be able to generate.
LVO advised me to contact my DM since my DM got an email from Delhi medical center regarding this issue. So my DM was sent my son medical result directly to Delhi medical center via email without generating upfront medical report.
Now I emailed CIC and waiting for further instruction for visa stamping

FYI medicals from Asians countries are sent to Delhi Medical Office.

After the meds was done the DMP Clinic gave us a print of the emedical form. Do I need to submit that at the VFS office?

Ok i ve a situation here and i need your advises

my husband is diabetic .he lost weight so all his triglycerids and cholestrol and every thing is normal ..he is no longer overweight

But i have two problems his body mass index is relatively high as he has very broad shoulders and heavy boans and he insists on smoking ....

He is refusing to quit but he cut it down a lot ...
Can his smoking be a reason for the doctor to expect future problems connected to smoking with diabetes ..please advise

I don't think that it can be a reason.
Only those deceases that will create a big burden on canadian health care system and also contaigeous diceases and similarly the disceases that will prohibit a person from working can cause the rejection otherwise no problem.

My doctor was a nice person. He chatted a lot with us during the medical exam. Frankly what I understood is that they are looking for AIDS, Syphilis, Tuberculosis or Breast Cancer. If you have current or past history that flags up in the system. I had very high BP on the day of the medical exam so I was referred for a Cardio Consultation. CIC should be happy if you are diagnosed with the problem such as BP, Blood Sugar, etc and undergoing lifestyle modification & treatment.

Does anyone know do the physiotherapist that are doing medical have access to our medical record history?

Please suggest what tests are required for MR

I have medical exam coming in 1 week.
My child had stroke at birth. He has developmental delays.
He is getting PT, OT, DI and Speech now and is much better.
The progress is really good but still he isnt the same as normal kids in growth.
His speech is the most delayed.

Is this reason enough for rejection.

Is there a meaning of "medical results have been received" on ecas screen other than receipt of medical result? I mean: is it a sign of positive report?

Hello everyone, please help!

I received MR yesterday. However they said that they attached the medical form but i've looked several times and i could see the attachment. What should i do? Should i just download the (Medical Form) IMM1017E? Please advice.
