Hi everybody! I need your help, more specifically from Italian applicants! Im preparing all documents for the application and i called one of the physicians showed on the cigc website, to ask informations about the medical exams. I've been told that i have to send the application and then the embassy will call me in order to get an appointment... I think that's not how it works! Am I wrong? What did u do? Any advice will be really helpful!
Thanks in advance, Alessandra

You have to tell them you are doing an" upfront medical ". Also ask them if they take the pictures for the application, and don't forget blood tests and xrays. Sometimes they are not all in the same building and some forum members have missed them.

Hi! Im italian and Im from Rome.
I did the medical check on last April in Rome. As you can see on the website there are only 2 places in Italy where u can do those kind of med chk, one in rome and one in milan i guess. I went to the one in Rome and I actually did it before submitting my application, exactly 3-4 months before. But there is no problem cause they will do all the tests they need (blood work, lungs xrays etc) and send it directly to CIC and they will keep them on file. Once you will send your application you will need to include the copy of the certificate they will give it to u. It's very easy...you will just need to pay around 350€ for all the checks and it will take only 2-3 hours.
If u have more question dont hesitate to contact me! ;)

Well obviously not , if they told you that you had to send the application in first . You will need to take identification with you and passport pictures if they don't take them at the Doctors office.
1) Medical Exam
2)Blood Tests
3) xrays.

These results will be sent to Cic by the panel DR and you will receive a receipt from the DR and that's what you will send with your application.
