Medical Examination - high blood pressure

Hello everyone


I have given my medical examination today for PR. My blood pressure was 140/ 104. Doctor asked whether I’m aware of high blood pressure. She didn’t asked for any further testing. She said only lower reading is high and she will put in the file as it is. Will this be any issue for my application. Will I be rejected ? I’m so worried now.

Have Anyone faced the same scenarios during their pr process. Please advise.

Most likely you will be requested for further tests. 140/90 is the threshold.

Hypertension is common nowadays. If there is no other findings in further test, it should be fine.

p.s 104 for diastolic reading is quite high. Better to do some detailed checkup. All the best.

I also was above the threshold but I was super stressed that day and told the doctor I hated medical visits.. I don't know if he reported the exact results in my file but I passed the exam and nothing was flagged in the report.
