All, I am very new here. I had undergone the medical examination for Canada PR under the FSW in early Nov 2015
I was recently diagnosed of FVPTC (Follicular variant of papillary thyroid carcinoma), basically a rare but curable type of Thyroid cancer. Good news was my pathology result indicated solitary encapsulated tumor with no evidence of invasion.
I have completed thyroidectomy surgery and still awaiting RI treatment some time in January. The doctor believes my case is very low risk and that the treatment will be curative with insignificant risk of occurrence. But I will be on LevoThyroxine daily medication for the rest of my life and six monthly blood test for at least 20 years.
Does anybody know if this condition may lead to medical inadmissibility?
