I am based in Ausralia and have received ITA and now have 90 days to submit PCCs and all other documentation. One of them is Proof of upfront medical exam and this is marked as required.
What needs to be submitted for this? I tried to book an appointment for medical examination, but they were not able to validate my UCI number. I followed up with migration services (Embassy of Canada in Australia) to see why it cant be validated. They said it is because my file has still not moved to a stage where I have been asked to take medicals.
So then my query is - if medicals need to be done when asked upon, what needs to be submitted now when submitting the PR application? Please check Screenshot and help me if anyone has been through this.

First you should find your nearest panel physician https://secure.cic.gc.ca/pp-md/pp-list.aspx
Next you book for Upfront medicals skilled worker

At this stage you do not have a UCI number you should have CANxxxxxx number once your medicals pass you get your UCI number.

Now the panel examines the candidate and gives a form (E medical) that has a UMI# and your photo.

This form has a special number called UMI with a barcode, (ask the centre to send it to you via Email too).
Upload a soft copy of this form as proof of upfront medical in the relevant case holder (same line you attached above in a screen shot).

once you upload it IRCC links it to your applicant not visa versa the centre links nothing in upfront medical.
IRCC will use UMI # you uploded to search the results in E medical system and link it to you.

Thank you for your reply. I could not find all this information and no where was this pointed out that I can book using a UMI# generated and working visa category.

Check below link
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/medical-police/medical-exams/requirements-permanent-residents.html

In general as a candidate you don't really need to know technical process. Only book an appointment and the centre should do the rest.
afterall they will give you a proof of upfront medical (UMI will be printed as generated from Emedical) so you can upload it.

And yes if the pannel did not recognize what category suits you (because you don't have UCI# nor a job offer) tell them Express Entry/ Worker.
