Hello Everyone,
I am an Irish citizen and my Canadian fiancee and I are currently in Ireland but are returning to Canada to apply for permanent residence from within Canada through common law partnership. We are having problems with two items,
1, When entering the application do I need to have had a medical test or do they after accepting my fiancee as a sponser refer me to a doctor. I am tempted to have my medical here in Ireland before returning with a canadian approved doctor.
2, When entering Canada this time do I say that I am applying for residency and therefor will be let in easier or do I not mention it and just enter through a tourist visa changing my status after sending our application.
We will greatly appreciate any correspondence on the matter,
All the best,
Seabright
